Manufacturer's warranty
Where a manufacturer gives a warranty, its length, conditions, exclusions and claim process are set by the manufacturer. They vary by brand, product and sometimes by the market the product was made for. Some manufacturers only provide warranty service in certain countries.
What KABA does
We can help you identify the right manufacturer or authorised service contact, and support your claim with proof of purchase from us. The manufacturer's own diagnosis and repair or replacement decisions apply.
Exclusions
The manufacturer's exclusions apply. Depending on the product, these may include:
- accidental damage;
- liquid damage;
- power surges;
- misuse;
- unauthorised modification or repair;
- normal wear.
Your data and accounts
Before handing a product over for service, do the following:
- back up your data;
- remove sensitive information;
- unlink the product from your accounts where requested.
A product may be reset or replaced during service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for data loss from a normal service process.
Transport costs
Unless we supplied the wrong product, caused the issue, or the law requires otherwise, you are responsible for transport costs to and from the service location.
What warranty does not change
This Policy does not remove your statutory rights if goods were misdescribed, defective at sale, or otherwise failed to meet obligations under Ghanaian law.
